Xen error

I am getting a error while reboot the VPS on node. #xm reboot vm17 Error: Domain 'vm17' does not exist. Usage: xm reboot [-wa] Please tell me commands for fixing this error.

What do you get it you create the domain xm create /home/xen/vm17/vm17.cfg (or similar)

The command give error #xm creat -c /home/xen/vm17/vm17.cfg Using config file "/home/xen/vm17/vm17.cfg". Started domain vm17 . . . . . . . setuproot: error mounting /sys: No such file or directory Switching to new root and running init. unmounting old /dev unmounting old /proc unmounting old /sys switchroot: mount failed: No such file or directory Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

its looks like your vm is corrupted.

Do you use lvm for this VPS? Check the lvm partition status. It really seems like corrupted virtual disk.

Are you using /dev/sda for the root device? You could try /dev/xvda and see if that works

If it is really corrupted, you might need to fsck volGroup of that vps.
