WHMCS Not Sending Emails

Posted by Will Hosting, 11-01-2010, 01:03 AM
For some reason WHMCS has stop sending emails, I'm currently using PHPMail to send emails to clients. There are no errors and it says that it sent successfully, but the client never receives it. I've tried it on multiple email providers and none of them receive emails sent.

Have you checked the root/default email account to see if you are receiving any bounce/mailer-daemon emails?

Using phpmail is not reliable as most mails end up in spam box or gets blocked. Its better to use an SMTP server to send mail.

Are these mails frozen in the queue; did they actually leave the server? Also, a number of the big free e-mail providers for example will mark as SPAM, or even outright reject, mail from domains that have missing or misconfigured SPF records. SMTP would be best for sending mail. Last edited by GGWH-James; 11-01-2010 at 06:17 AM.
