Zoneserv Where is Gil Have a Question has any one Hosting with Zoneserv.com (Gil Binder) Been able to contact him lately? I have been hosting with Him for about 3 years now and in the past 3 weeks have not been able to make contact with him. I see on his forums that others have tried as well with no response. The forums are filled with Spam as well telling me he hasn't visited them in some time now. I have tried contact by support tickets with no response and the ticket being closed out after 1 week hence no response has been made to the ticket. I just hope he is ok. Does any one here have any clue what might have happened with Zoneserv.com (Gil Binder Thanks,

Hmm, maybe he's on vacation for the time being? Do you have a phone number you could contact him on? Try to find someone close to him, family, co-worker, etc, and see if they will let you know what's up. __________________Acai | Acai Berry

looks like I found My answer Just received this email looks a little fishy not sure if its true or not. Quote: Dear Clients, It is my time to bid you farewell, I have decided to retire of the hosting business. I will be changing venues to something more relevant to my passion (flowers). The servers will be closed in exactly one week, so you should backup and move right away. I thank you all for your time and commitment, and I wish you best luck with your businesses. My apologies for the last week for not reponding to your tickets, it was indeed a fault that was caused by many non relevant issues. ZoneServ and I wishes you best luck with your future ordeals. Good Bye. __________________ Live And LocaleWXFLINT

If the company has been non-existing and won't answer support tickets.... I wouldn't take my chances betting the email is not true. __________________Need a new Web Host?Become a Host Refugee and receive TRUE 24/7 SupportcPanel + Fantastico, PHP4 or PHP5HostRefugee.com - See our current promotions

It's absurd though, the mention of flowers. I mean, c'mon, that raises a red flag for me too.

Yeah That's what I was thinking I have already removed my self from the server days ago when no contact was made. The mail did come from the server Quote: X-Source-Args: /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -k start -DSSL X-Source-Dir: zoneserv.com:/public_html/clients/admin __________________ Live And LocaleWXFLINT

What raises more of a red flag, is that the company appears dead other than that email. Even if that email did not exist, I would still be packing my bags and moving somewhere else. __________________Need a new Web Host?Become a Host Refugee and receive TRUE 24/7 SupportcPanel + Fantastico, PHP4 or PHP5HostRefugee.com - See our current promotions

I'm not surprised to be honest. I don't think they ever really recovered from the time they had problems with servers and lost all backups... At least now you have time to backup and move away.. Shame it's a bit short notice.. Last edited by anon-e-mouse : 12-07-2008 at 07:32 AM.
