Confirmation-netrackservers.com Is it down for you too? I recently rented a dedicated from them and today my server and their website drop right off the web, don't get me wrong the customer support they have is very nice but it seems they must have a very bad failure can anyone confirm?

Yes - I just registered today in order to reach them somehow. I can confirm all my sites are down, server is down, I'm bleeding money and looking for a new dedicated server host.

I managed to reach them and left a message on: +1 877 4818488. There's no-one to take my call so currently I'm left, quite literally, in the dark. According to Mon.itor.us, my server uptime over the last 30 days is a rather dreadful 94%. I'm beginning to regret choosing NetRackServers.

Hi Bryce, I get no response, but I will try again later. I've called NetRackServers again. No-one available (this is perfectly usual for NetRackServers - in my experience they have no-one available even when you want to purchase things from them). Still, a message or announcement (even here on WebHostingTalk) would be a REALLY GOOD THING TO DO. NetRackServers? I hope you're listening?

The details of today's outage: My server went offline between 13:16 and 13:47 and came back online at 16:42. (GMT). There was no response from NetRackServers via email or answering or returning any telephone calls during this period. I am considering my options.

Hello All NETRACKservers has an issue where a main power line was severed due to construction outside the building. We are still awaiting more information on this, but we have had the issue rectified as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any trouble this may have caused, but we are still trying to find more information on the compelte root cause, and how it happened. Bryce, this number you have listed is not the business owner, and I am not sure why your are posting this information. __________________NETRACKSERVERSManaged Hosting SolutionsMADE SIMPLEhttp://www.netrackservers.com

Mike, This seems fair enough, but there are lessons that can be learned here that I notice no-one from NetRackServers has acknowledged. The fault may be due to a third party, and we all understand this. However the service rendered during this period was, if I am to be polite - pitiful. 1) I had no responses to my phone calls. And still, no-one has returned my calls. (My calls were polite, and gave full name, company name and telephone number). When I called there was nothing on your answering machine alerting me to the fact that there was a severe outage. 2) To my knowledge, there was no outage notification email. 3) There was no notification posted on this forum. 4) Power line? You need to consider a backup power generator. Most hosts have them. (iWeb do, and they're based in Canada too). For all I knew you could have gone out of business, taking my server down with me. The fact that the NetRackServers own website isn't supported by an external temporary host with backup DNS is worrying as it wasn't just my server offline, but yours too by the looks of things. I had to stop everything I was doing (fee earning work) in order to start making arrangements for an alternate server. If I had received an email, I may have accepted the downtime rather than being forced into immediate action for the worst case scenario. I only assume that your participation in this thread comes from my prompting (in the email I sent to support, I included the URL to this thread for your reference). All I get from NetRackServers is an email from a nameless support person (assuming it's not boilerplate automation), "The issue is now resolved, you should be able to connect to your server. Our apologies for the inconvenience.". No explanation, no refund, no plans to stop this happening again, nothing. According to your website, you have: # 24X7 Live Monitoring. # Backup Power Generator # Free Server Uptime Monitoring Included with all Dedicated Packages It seems the live monitoring and backup power generator failed, along with your customer service today.
