Question on suexec log and defunct apache processes

Using top, I see some processes end with state Z. Does that mean the process failed to run and was shut down or did it run successfully and is shutting down? While seeing those state Z processes, I went to suexec log and found something like this: Does that look like there is anything wrong?

It's a zombie process(that's what the Z stands for). It's dead, but not dead. The only way to get rid of these is to kill the parent process, but they're usually pretty harmless.
