Cloud structure setup for hosting

Hello, Can anybody give a instructions for cloud-hosting system setup ? Actually the main purpose is preventing down times for sites, data loss on unusual events, etc ... Also, i want to enhance my network just adding new servers. If you have another good idea, please post it too. Thank you.

Would you be using your own servers or in a leased datacenter (like softlayer etc)? D

I'm working with serverloft and they are really good i think. I want to keep going with them if possible.

Oki - should be doable - how about storage, any considerations? You looking at central or local storage? D
