http://sourceforge.net/projects/mod-qos/ I just found out about this mod for apache and wondered if anyone else used this... i looks like a mod advanced replaced for the other dDoS/Flood control mods.

This works well for particular types of attacks, but if an attacker is able to fill up your apache sockets it will do no good and you will have to rely on other types of blocking - hardware firewall, iptables, etc.

mod_qos is a quality of service module for the Apache web server implementing control and ensure the resources available for the services under high load on the server.
