Posted by Beysimali, 12-08-2004, 03:46 PM
Hi, I want to cansel my account on Gazzin (gazzin.com). So I sent request to close my account. For sequrity reasons they request all my info, like address, account name e t.c A sent all required infos but no answer. I sent new ticket to ask them what’s happening. The answer was “Account closed are queued and takes up to 7-14 business days. Please await for a response.” But I don’t saw any info on their TOS that the closing an account requires 7-14 days. My account ends on December 14, I don’t want to pay for next month.. Because my credit card is saved on their billing software (modernbill) and mayments are made automaticaly. So , what can I do sorry for my bad english

Not that this helps in your current situation, but for your next host I suggest you use PayPal for payments. If you ever have trouble with the host, just cancel the PayPal subscription and you won't have money taken out of your account you don't want. Also, you are not handing your credit card number out to as many places.

That's what I do. If a host doesn't accept Paypal I won't even look at their hosting packages. FWIW, I had an account on Gazzin for a few weeks. I dumped them due to constant server downtimes. They verified my info and closed my account within 24 hours.

beysimali, Our sales rep indicated you wont be charged we already have your account on queued for termination. There was no need to make a post regarding this matter as we already have it under control.

We never purposely charge an account that wish to cancel. This is not right and we dont believe in generating such revenue within these means. The recurring transaction are usually stopped at the request of a cancellation. IF you were charged simply an direct email to our billing and a refund will be made back to the card or via paypal or check depending on what the individual perfers. Sorry for any confusion beysimali but we respect your decision and will not challenge it by charging your card.

I just looked at Gazzin.com and thought it would be nice to setup an account, but when I got to the billing section, there was no option to use PayPal. Kinda drives clients away like myself.

Maybe they don't like Paypal. Many people & businesses have a reason not to like it. It's not like they absolutely have to accept it. It's their business decision and that's it. Send them an email and ask for Paypal. Maybe they simply don't put it on their site, who knows?
