What the $#@!

Okay, So here's the deal. reseller6.com has come up in discussion here before. Reseller6.com is a datacities company. How is reseller6.com offering their plans for so cheap? Their reseller6 plan has all of the same features and bandwidth/HD space amounts as datacities first reseller plan. Reseller6.com is offering their services for more than twenty dollars less. Is it less stable than datacities, or is something missing that I'm not seeing? I would probably choose datacities over reseller6 but what is the deal with the price?!

I would bank on some major overselling going on there, or they found that magical low-cost bandwidth provider we have all been looking for. Ask to contact some of their current clients as refferences see what they say.

Yeah, I can see some major overselling... Unless they are on like a 100mbps unmetered connection with a decent datacenter, I don't see them being able to provide that amount of bandwidth for all their users...

Nice LOW price, I hope their support is decent though.

most likely not.

I was betting on an unmetered 100mbps line, but those aren't cheap enough to be charging that amount of money. I've been thinking about getting their smallest package. I can afford less than $5 a month. If I do I'll keep you posted.

UPDATE ON RESELLER6: I've spent the last week with them... trying them out and I can tell you that their support is far from good. I've sometimes gone over 24 hrs without a response nor reply. I I want to change to a new reseller because of support worries with my current reseller. Seeing that is was my first time moving reseller... I need some help, and didn't get any! I've asked for a refund... and will continue looking else where! Luckily, I decided I was going to keep all of my clients on my current reseller, and test one single domain name (a spare) with Reseller6. Doing this saved me lots of headaches and downtime !!! Just a personal experience with Reseller6, so for anyone thinking about them -- remember that it may take a while to get an answer to your questions.

I never got an answer from them regarding about how many clients they host. I specifically said that I was 'very interested in their plans' to try and get their attention. They never responded to a possible cutomer? That's pretty ignorant. Anyways, datacities.com looks much more trustworthy. They are more expensive, but its not always about saving a few dollars, especially when youre sacrificing good service! Last edited by MNETS; 08-22-2004 at 11:04 PM.

Taking a look at their costs scares me. They could not make a profit like that, and are overselling by a huge amount.
