I would suggest that you ask your customer in India to perform tracert tests from their systems and send the test results to you. In this way you or your data center provider will be able to identify that where the problem is..

nothing is resolving at approximately 25 client's end, i.e. email/cpanel/ ftp no ping response , no telnet response.

Is this happening when the customer takes the site with IP address?

Hey Nilesh, I am also from India. Can you provide any of your domain, so that I could check ?

Hey I've got a news that "The South East AsiaMiddle EastWestern Europe 4 (SEA-ME-WE 4) submarine communications cable system, which connects South East Asia and Europe, is reportedly cut in three places, off Palmero, Italy." http://www.ciol.com/Technology/Netwo...-hit/135399/0/

That very well may be the case, you should be able to verify that with a traceroute from the customer end and yours (if possible you could test traceroute with TCP,UDP and ICMP, but any traceroute should probably be okay to show how far the packet is getting). If it is an intermitent problem, pathping may be able to show congestion, as it sends more than one packet and calculates statisitics. Sometimes QOS or the routers may treat these packets differently, but generally it works.

Our clients are not able to get Ping, traceroute, Telnet as well Nilesh

The traceroute shows the hops along the way, so it shows how far the packet gets (showing routing issue, likely fiber cut, and something you can check on), while the telnet and ping can reveal only end to end connectivity. The traceroute data can be dropped by firewalls, so telling traceroute to use different protocols can aid with that where a particular protocol is dropped and another allowed.

Nothing as such. Working fine with emails and servers and getting emails without any problem. None of my clients have complained of any such thing..

I was about to contact my isp because of slowness. I guess that itself is the reason.
