domain name provider?

My question is what do you think about domain name providers who also provide web hosting, aren't they directly create competition for you? Who from domain names providers offer a good option for web hosting resellers?

| Posted by Glanhosts, 07-06-2004, 10:58 PM | | I can see what you mean but thats not true all the way...becuase I would not buy hosting from my domains name provider.....only buy hosting from big reputed companies becuase if i bought domain name and hosting from the same company and something goes wrong with the hosting plan or company and i want to switch you are in a jam becuase of having hard time changing the nameserver to point to a new hosting providers.....
I have heared lots of really messed stories of the same situations...

| Posted by TR Seeks, 07-07-2004, 04:04 AM | | Domain regstras offer cheap hosting but not to many featues. I think that is why people tend to host with companies instead of companies like enom and godaddy. The people who do host with them have small websites are are looking for a cheaper option
