This is an interesting question I just tried out my Idologic.com resellers account which offers SSH access. PINE was there and it worked (sent a test e-mail to my Yahoo account).

The only problem with pine is that it is going to use your system e-mail address. For example, lets say your username on the system was "miakeru" and the hostname is srv1.myhost.com. The e-mail address that you would have to send and receive from/to would be miakeru@srv1.myhost.com. What you could do is set up a rule where it changes the from address in PINE, and make an e-mail forwarder with the address you would like to send and receive to/from with your control panel. For example, set up an e-mail forward of miakeru@mydomain.com to forward to miakeru@srv1.myhost.com. Obviously replace miakeru with your username, and the hostnames with the correct ones. I hope things work out for you!
