mail folder has all your emails - you can delete those emails if they aren't very important or use a program like outlook and download them to your computer. The tmp folder has stuff like your web stats, bandwidth usage, etc. Not sure why it's 1200mb in size. You should go in there and see what sub-files/folder are in there.

Some PHP scripts use the /tmp/ folder to upload files. However, the files are usually moved once they are uploaded. What kind of files are in the directory ?

In tmp/analog I have something like the image attached, and it repeats similar to each add-on domain. In mail/new I have 1998 files that you can see in the attached image. I do not use any email account like name@mydomain.com. I am using vbulletin and joomla Attached Thumbnails

Those are the default Analog stat files and has to be there if you need analog stats. If you don't need them, you can ask your host to disable Analog stats but they will rarely do it as you are on a Shared Hosting Server. Those files are the emails under your default email account. When a domain is added on the server, cPanel creates a default email account with the username. It looks like it has been set as a catchall as well which is why any email sent to your domain at anything@yourdomain.com is saved under the default email address. If those emails are of no use to you, you can login to Webmail and delete them. cPanel >> Email Accounts >> at the bottom, you will see the cPanel username and a Webmail icon in front of it. Login to it using your cPanel password and delete the emails.

It is safe to delete /tmp/analog folder if you don't want to use Analog stats for your domain. Also, do not delete your mail folder otherwise your email service will stop working until you fix it again. Use email client software like Outlook to download the emails. Also, if you have set default email from your cPanel, you can disable it. Kailash

Hello, It seems you have set default/catchall address in your account. Hence all mails that is sent to someone@yourdomain.com, when 'someone' doesn't exist, will be delivering to this account. You can ask your host to clear the inbox of that account, or you can login to your webmail and clear them. Also please use the following steps to disable the catch all address, [1] Login to the cPanel of your domain. [2] Click on 'Mail' icon. [3] Click on 'Default Address'. [4] Now click on 'Set Default Address' link. [5] Enter :blackhole: in the text box and click on 'Change' button.
