how to separate this server for 3 VPS's with openvz

hi all, I want some help for separate this server to 3 VPS server: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz Ram 8 GB VPS1 50% form server power VPS2 25% from server power VPS3 25% from server power some choose don't know what to do on it, so I make it like this VPS1 Disk Quota 50% from hard drive Number Of Backups unlimited Burstable Memory (MB)(openvz Only) 4GB Guaranteed Memory (MB)(openvz Only) 4GB Number Of Processes(openvz Only) unlimited Cpu Usage (%) 100/CPU 200 Traffic (MB/month) 50% from bandwidth Uplink Traffic(KB/s) unlimited CPU UNITS (default 1000) unlimited IO Priority (0-7) unlimited Number Of CPUS unlimited VPS2 Disk Quota 25% from hard drive Number Of Backups unlimited Burstable Memory (MB)(openvz Only) 2GB Guaranteed Memory (MB)(openvz Only) 2GB Number Of Processes(openvz Only) unlimited Cpu Usage (%) 100/CPU (100) Traffic (MB/month) 25% from bandwidth Uplink Traffic(KB/s) unlimited CPU UNITS (default 1000) unlimited IO Priority (0-7) unlimited Number Of CPUS unlimited VPS3 Disk Quota 25% from hard drive Number Of Backups unlimited Burstable Memory (MB)(openvz Only) 2GB Guaranteed Memory (MB)(openvz Only) 2GB Number Of Processes(openvz Only) unlimited Cpu Usage (%) 100/CPU (100) Traffic (MB/month) 25% from bandwidth Uplink Traffic(KB/s) unlimited CPU UNITS (default 1000) unlimited IO Priority (0-7) unlimited Number Of CPUS unlimited I don't know if I make it in right, so anyone can help me to know what should do, specially in the unlimited sections CPU UNITS (default 1000) unlimited IO Priority (0-7) unlimited Number Of CPUS unlimited and thanks for advice

You could use vzplit twice. Once to create the 50 percent configs, and one to create the 25 percent configs.

the 3 VPS's is already created with the set I post on the first post, I want to know if that right or not , thanks brother.

sorry for non understanding you I try its, thanks, its much easy but I did change in the first vps /etc/vz/conf/110.conf but doesn't changed on Limit on Hypervm interface? should I need to restart, or I do something wrong ?

You will have to keep the resources for your main Hardware node. You are going to create VMs which will have total 100% resources assigned. You may face the problem if all three VMs use all allocated resource. Kailash

Once you change the resources limits in /etc/vz/conf/110.conf, you need to restart the VPS using the command OR you may also reboot VPS from HyperVM (client side) >> 'Reboot' option.
