12 hours with equivity.com

Well after what I feel was more than enough research I made the jump and finally picked a reseller to get an account with. I went with equivity.com because SSH access is available cpanel/whm/fantastico -with autopilot option excellent costs enom account available for domain reselling good pricing on SSL certs just in case knowledge base and forum that seem to have decent info and activity. The forums are fairly new and aren't hopping but the responses look quick, accurate and polite. Currently I have a regular hosting account with ecphosting.net and a free 1and1 account. I was tempted to go with ecp again but for the above reasons I'm making the switch. I've submitted 2 tickets so far both of which were 'where is' 'how do I' and the responses were quick accurate, and polite. Only been 12 hours or less but I'm loving the experience so far.

If you are an avid (or become one) you may want to update your review 3 - 6 months from now. Good Luck.

Make sure to sign up and subscribe to the announcements forum in their bb so you'll get automatic notification on what's happening with their network/servers. I read there yesterday that they've got a new server so make sure your account was set up there or, if not, have your account transferred there. Equivity's pretty good and I feel that they are a responsible company. Too bad I had to leave them when I got my own server.

Do you have a domain/s that you're hosting with them? Oh wait, you've only been there for 12 hours, so dns propagation won't have kicked in yet.

Wow 12 hours. Might be a new WHT "review" record.

Ya know I had looked at them but their costs seemed to good to be true. I'm glad you're having a good experience and maybe I'll do some more investigating...

I just signed up with equivity not even a couple of hours ago... so far can't login to WHM or the main FTP account. However cPanel is fine... this sucks

You can sign into Cpanel but NOT WHM? Don't you have to create a plan in WHM before you get a regular account with Cpanel?

with equivity they give you a cpanel account with an extra x number of MBs depending on your plan. So basically I have 4GB of 'resellable' space that I can't login to.. and 250MB of my own space on top of that that, which I am also having problems with.

oh. From an administrative point of view, I'd think it would just be easier to give the client a 4.25 GB WHM account and let them make their own Cpanel accounts. Hope it works out for you.

You should probably wait a *little* longer before posting your final conclusions.
