Microsoft .NET chart controls

One of my customers wants .NET chart controls to be enabled on the server in which he has purchased webspace for his application. I want to know if I should enable the .NET chart controls on a shared hosting server. Is it recommended? What kind of load can an application using the chart control create on the server?
