vmware install stalls at Booting: MBI=0x000100d8, entry=0x00100212
Posted by Recoyle, 10-19-2009, 04:53 PM | My employer has asked me to mess around with vmware... I have tried to install it on multiple servers. Everytime I do I end up with the install hanging at this line:
Booting: MBI=0x000100d8, entry=0x00100212
I have read around a bit and some say that they get this issue after trying to upgrade from 3.5 to 4.0. I am currently trying to install 4.0 and my next step is to attempt a 3.5 install.
If anyone knows why this is happening, any help is appreciated.
ps. the latest server I am trying this on, is a Dell Poweredge 2600. Running 2 Pentium Xeon procs at 2.8GHz and 2 gigs of ram.
Thanx in advance for any help!

If anyone happens to have this information, please help me out.
