How to recompile PDO for PHP ?
Posted by hosting2009, 04-12-2009, 06:05 AM | I visited the PHP installation manual site and tried running the configure file. But inside ssh its saying not found.
here is my configure file from phpinfo on the server.
./configure' '--disable-pdo' '--enable-bcmath' '--enable-calendar' '--enable-ftp' '--enable-gd-native-ttf' '--enable-libxml' '--enable-magic-quotes' '--enable-sockets' '--prefix=/usr/local' '--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs' '--with-freetype-dir=/usr' '--with-gd' '--with-imap=/opt/php_with_imap_client/' '--with-imap-ssl=/usr' '--with-jpeg-dir=/usr' '--with-kerberos' '--with-libxml-dir=/opt/xml2/' '--with-mcrypt=/opt/libmcrypt/' '--with-mysql=/usr' '--with-mysql-sock=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' '--with-png-dir=/usr' '--with-ttf' '--with-xpm-dir=/usr' '--with-zlib' '--with-zlib-dir=/usr'
can anyone help me on this? thank you.

Posted by eth1, 04-12-2009, 01:53 PM | You need to remove the the configure statement "--disable-pdo" and recompile PHP with the rest of the statements.
For versions of PHP above 5.x you can install PDO using PECL,

Posted by ServerManagement, 04-12-2009, 03:53 PM | It's best to do this through cpanel's easyapache instead of manually, that way when you run updates they won't be left out.
