How to enable PHP info on my server, need urgent help!

Posted by webuser00, 04-06-2009, 02:05 AM
Hello, I am tried to make a file to tell me the php info of my server, but I get the following error. Warning: phpinfo() has been disabled for security reasons I have no idea how to enable or figure out why this is happening I did disable some stuff in PHP configuration a while back because people were uploading c99 shells and whatnot on my box, so I'm not sure if that could be the issue. Please let me know!! I am running WHM/Cpanel on my server

You'll need to contact your hosting provider (assuming you are a reseller) However, I see very little, to no reason at all as to why phpInfo should be blocked on a hosting site.

I own the box, so I need to do something myself.

Check php.ini. Search for disable_functions option

If your worried about people uploading c99 shells, enable mod_security to disallow the redirects that are being used to import the c99 shells.
