If it's a cPanel server, try using: The error you posted means that /usr/sbin/apxs doesn't exist.

tnx. its my first time to manage cpanel server. my expertness is on directadmin server . and i have an other questin. how can us edit httpd.conf or ss.conf or ... by whm ? because we can do it by admin panel in directadmin

AFAIK you can't edit httpd.conf in WHM. So you'd need to edit it from SSH. Be sure to read the comments in httpd.conf. As the file is automagicly generated by cPanel, so changes you make will be overwritten if not done correctly.

Always make sure that you are making backup before proceeding. It will surely help in avoiding problems.

Make sure you add mod evasive value into include instead httpd.conf, beacuse whm will delete those added value, section apache configuration/include editor

create the following file: /usr/local/apache/conf/mod_evasive.conf Add this to it (making changes as needed): DOSHashTableSize 3097 DOSPageCount 5 DOSSiteCount 100 DOSPageInterval 2 DOSSiteInterval 2 DOSBlockingPeriod 600 Now Add to httpd.conf: Include "/usr/local/apache/conf/mod_evasive.conf" below mod_evasive module Restart Apache and let the fun begin. Hopefuly this helps.
