GoDaddy DNS for MX (different server), Quick help?

Posted by axishift, 03-26-2009, 10:10 PM
Guys need quick help! The DNS is hosted on GoDaddy, we have access via Total DNS. The A records is as follow: Host: mail Points to: 209.x.x.x The MX records: Priority: 0 Host: example.com Goes to: mail.example.com The following configuration is busted, it looses the MX entry on dig. Anybody knows how to edit this properly on GoDaddy's total dns? Thanks

Thanks for the screenshot! It is now working, I understand now. GoDaddy has a different approach over this. Especially when you add an new A pointer.
