i have question about Background Process Killer

what are them and which of them must enable in Background Process Killer option?

| Posted by bear, 03-25-2009, 12:34 PM | | If you were to search Google for any of those, you'd find out that some of them are IRC (Internet Relay Chat) applications that are commonly installed without the server owner's permission. Others are packet sniffers, etc.
I usually enable all of them to help prevent them running on our servers.

| Posted by bear, 03-25-2009, 05:21 PM | | Enabling them means preventing them from running on your server. IRC tends to be resource intensive and undesirable on regular hosting servers. Sniffers are typically used to monitor traffic for interesting packets that might contain things they shouldn't be seeing.
Your call if you want to allow them. We don't.
