If however you are only running one advertising campaign it will be easier to notice the increase of sales. When you start running several campaigns across different sites how will you know which ones to keep and which ones to cut? The ones with more clicks or the ones with more converted sales? These are questions ad buyers have to deal with all the time, I'm interested in what your opinions.

When a user first visit your site, set a cookie with the value equals to the referrer.
On your sign up form. send along the referrer cookie.
The only catch is if he use ANOTHER browser or PC to make the purchase...but it's better than no Info.
