Receiving spam from my email address

Receiving spam from my email address Hello, One of my clients is receiving spam from his email address. SpamAssassin is not marking it as spam. I have added an SPF record for the domain, but still gets these messages. Is there any workaround for this? I don't want to activate spambox for that. Server is cPanel + CentOS 5.2 __________________Bouncing Cube: Professional, Reliable, Affordable Hosting.

You can install RBL. Its the perfect solution. You can enable it in WHM >> Exim Configuration Editor Last edited by sabarishks : 11-24-2008 at 04:54 PM.

Hi SPF, RBL, all necessary parts of your anti-spam solution. You should also check out BATV - apart from that, you might want to consider finding a professional filter for this specific domain if you want to safe yourself some time, hassle of maintenance, etc. There are great reseller plans out there which won't cost you anything as a host and allow for offering your clients with an extra service. Cheers and good luck with the problem! __________________New Generation Anti-Spam Filtering! No emails get lost with filter rates over 99.99%: Best filtering for the lowest price on the web! As well as publishing an SPF record, is your client's mail server configured to check them? __________________I think the server saw what was required of it and just committed suicide instead.

My clients use a local mail server that fetches emails from the main email server. I am using the default cPanel configuration. Should the local mail server also check for SPF records? A bit of background info is much appreciated. __________________Bouncing Cube: Professional, Reliable, Affordable Hosting.

Did you stop relaying of the mail servers? May be that is causing this. Off topic: srenkema, Check your signature. The closing braces is not correctly set. The url link will not work fine. << SpamExperts - "Simply SpamFree" (www.spamexperts.com) >>

The client's email is being marked as legitimate, while in fact it is spam, not vice versa. __________________Bouncing Cube: Professional, Reliable, Affordable Hosting.
