Posted by wKkaY, 08-21-2008, 08:38 PM
Hi guys, we had 15 servers at Softlayer Dallas reboot spontaneously half an hour ago. Anyone else faced the same problem?

Half my servers at SL just went down, looked on the forums and found this: NOTE: The servers that seem to be down are also in Dallas, Server Room 4. Last edited by Servax; 08-21-2008 at 08:57 PM.

We have 41 boxes. A good chunk of them were cut. Lots of db corruption now to deal with. One won't come back up and it's been over an hour downtime. I guess they have a big mess on their hands becuase usually their support is much better.

still getting the run around from them. You'd think as a client w/ 41 servers we'd get some help!

I'm pretty sure that there are many clients with less servers with equal or more value, and people with more servers as well. I'm sure they are getting absolutely murdered with requests, and will just post an update when they have one instead of repeating it time and time again.

Affected us too. They need to remove those false Tier IV claims from their website, they are barely n+1.
