Everything dropped for about 2-3 minutes last night apparently, and today there's been a lot of random packet loss.
On the bright side, the routers now have cute rdns

yeh no clue what's going on it seemed like major failure of some hardware.

my ssh sessions are freezing for a few minutes then spewing out characters i typed a long time ago

Fbyne, you have been requested more then once to provide your client ID or ip address block to prove your a customer, the other guy has 5 posts. Both of you please PM me your client ID so i can look into this further, if i do not get this information i will be reporting this to the moderators shortly.

There is NO SLA on the IRC network, (gigeservers) it is full of customers who are 100% at risk of being DDOSED, we are int he middle of a major infrastructure upgrade, if you dont want to be ddosed or at risk of being ddosed and having to be hosted on a protected network then stop being a ddos magnet, we make no guarantees. We ARE how ever doing a major revamp of the network which will be completed within the next 20 business days. If your unhappy there are other alternatives out there but obviously for some reason you and many others have chosen us. You can open up a ticket easily and you will be responded to 24/7. If there is an issue posting here when there is not an outage is ridiculous.
