Restart Service

anyone know of one?

It's just like RDP but using command prompt interface.
All you need to do is allow your users to connect via telnet and give them privileges to control the Windows services.

Posted by Patrick, 09-09-2008, 11:39 AM | Bad advise! Telnet is an unencrypted protocol and should never be used in the wild. I'd have to second RDP or some other protocol that can at least make some use of SSL or encryption.

Another way to do your request is to use the Windows Remote Administration (this is for windows 2k3 family)
To do this, you must install the IIS on you server first and then open the port 8098. So that you can connect to your server using the web-based win 2k3 admin with ssl support ^^
like this: https://yourip[or your domain]:8098
You can limit your users to use only service administering.
