Posted by thebassman, 05-18-2001, 11:33 AM
Who has the best reseller service? I find so many out there and a lot of them have major catches. Please tell me about any great resellers.

I`m sure if you looked around this forum for a couple of minutes you would find who people thought were good. I like Hosting Matters, they have great support and VenturesOnline. These are both great companies.

Depends what country you want. In the UK it's Vibus.net and donhost.. both are based on different platforms but very similar in reputation and price.

There are a lot of reseller package with some good/bad things, When we create our reseller plan try to pick up the best thing of all, anyway, I'm not saying that we have the best reseller plan, cause some sites offer %50 discount to they resellers and we can't afford that. (Mod: I'm not advertising my reseller plan)

It would depend also on what type of reseller package you are looking for.

The question was "who is the best reseller?", and the answer is "Kulman is the best reseller around". ))

That's a BIG question...and the answer, in my opinion, depends on your requirements. Were you looking for Linux or Win2K hosting?...or both? How about set-up fees? What about Telnet, PHP, MySQL support? What if you needed MSSQL, ASP, Access support, etc. Do you design streaming intensive sites? Are most of your sites e-commerce? You can see how the "best" reseller program is contigent upon what you need in a reseller program. I've spoken to web designers whose needs fit perfectly with our Partnership Program, while others who were simply not a match. So, if you're looking for the "best" reseller program out there, I'd recommend examining what you need in a reseller program first. Only then will you find the best reseller program FOR YOU. Kind Regards, Penny Ortega

Penny is right. First you must have a business plan, then find someone that fits your needs. Christy

Communitech.net has an excellent reselling program.

JKLIVIN I find it odd that your IP seems to be: office1-c2621.KCY.hosting4u.net -which would be Communitech's office. Would you care to explain this please? I'll ask that you do *not* recommend your employer.
