How does Billing work?

Posted by Lacey, 06-15-2001, 11:50 AM
When you resell and you add a client, are you as the reseller billed via your credit card per account (the instant its set up) or once amonth for all of your resold accounts or.......? Im asking because RevCom pays you in 2-4 week segments, Im wondering if the billing from most "parent Hosts" works that way to , or if one should have a sum of money set aside to cover things untill payment comes in , my credit card is attached to my bank account, having a set date that the sum in total comes out would work better for me. can things (if the parent host is willing ) be set up this way? It all just depends on the company you resell for. Most companies actually do combine everything into one lump payment per month.

Lacey, If you're concerned about payments being a week late and not having enough in your account to cover the bill, you might consider using an actual credit card instead - or even payments via check. This will allow you to ensure that you have enough money in your account before sending payment. The way our system works is you receive an invoice once per month for each of your accounts. So if you signup an account on the 5th of the month, you will be billed for that account every month on the 5th, and will have 30 days to pay. I'm not sure if this is pursuant with the rest of the industry, but seems like a good method to me. Hope that helps. Best Regards, Matt Lightner mlightner@site5.com
