Hello experts, I need some help please. For some reason I'm unable to run mysqltuner. This is the error I'm receiving, ERROR 1142 (42000) at line 1: SELECT command denied to user 'root'@'localhost' for table 'user' [OK] All database users have passwords assigned Illegal division by zero at ./mysqltuner.pl line 594, <> line 2 (#1) (F) You tried to divide a number by 0. Either something was wrong in your logic, or you need to put a conditional in to guard against meaningless input. Uncaught exception from user code: Illegal division by zero at ./mysqltuner.pl line 594, <> line 2. at ./mysqltuner.pl line 593 main::calculations() called at ./mysqltuner.pl line 938 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Looks like your providing the wrong password, or the user you are providing does not have full mysql root privileges.

Well it's root@localhost so I'm guessing the root user is actually screwed up in some way...

Wrong pass word would give this error, [!!] Attempted to use login credentials, but they were invalid. I'm using root user so I guess it has full privileges.

The issue is with the user account not having permission/access to the tables in question. Make sure that the user account your using has the right privileges.

I think you are right, it's the privileges problem, not sure how the privs got removed.
