theres no red color on my graph Max In 17.6 Mb/s Max Out 1519.6 kb/s what i dont get is how i can have inbound 17 mb/s when i am the only one who is uploading tto my server, and my max speed is only 1 mb/s and my server is 1000 mbit/s port and yet user only are able to get 1,5 mb/s ? the mrtg graph is provided on control panel by my own company, so is it possible that there have been mistake? They look from different direction. Green is the traffic going out of your server. Blue is incoming traffic to your server, that is httpd requests and file uploads (if any).

but if u check on the graph u can see the green color going up to 17 mb/s and it was states as inbound?? so you mean inboun and outbound can have differnet meaning ?

inbound, if you look from your server side, that is true. If they look from other direction, it will change. I think my TL server shows like this.

MRTG is usually based on snmp polling of a switch, so the graphs are from the perspective of a switch. Inbound to the switch is outbound from your server, and outbound from the switch is inbound to your server.

That is correct, I agree with hhw.
