How to Install FFMPEG on Fedora core 4

hi guys i want to install FFMPEG on my server , i tried to install from here http://vexxhost.com/blog/category/ffmpeg/ but i got error in step no. 6 , put in your consideration i didn't do the step no. 5 coz my OS is Fedora core 4. plz any one have the right way to install , tell me. thanks in advance

Depends on OS" doesn't mean you can skip the step because you're using a slightly different distro. It means you need to use whatever tools that distro provides for acquiring and installing those applications. Just run the commands in step 5... it should work fine since FC isn't significantly different from RHEL/CentOS. What's the error you got from step 6? I'm guessing it's just saying that you don't have svn (subversion) installed...

Complain to LayeredTech or figure out how to use the standard FC repositories.
