I need my fellow mates @ WHT to speak on Zend Core.
Does anyone use it?
Is it better to be with CakePHP or CodeIgnitor?
Is Zend Core needed to build large applications.
I personally know that Zend is taking PHP to the level what Java is all about.

Zend Core is basically like XAMPP except it has the debugger and profiler for Zend applications bundled in. I've used Zend Core and it's basically the same as XAMPP except for the bundled extra's.
As far as Zend Framework which I think is what you're actually getting at. I use it almost daily and in my opinion it's the best framework for PHP, but it's just a matter of opinion. Whatever gets the job done for you is the right framework.
