CPanel quotas and NFS

I'm hoping someone can save me some digging here. We use a NetApp for backend stuff and inherited a cpanel box. Modifying the scripts to write and modify quotas on the netapp was straight forward, but cpanel doesn't report it correctly. Anyone know where it looks for quota? I would have thought it would just parse whatever came up, but it doesn't seem to want to look at NFS mounts. I'd rather not rewrite the building of the repquota.datastore and cache. Seems to look at fstab in a couple of the cPScripts pm's..but thought I'd ask first. On a related note - where will WHM throw debug messages? Setting the debug flag in the scripts doesn't seem to drop it into /usr/local/cpanel/logs anywhere. Thanks for any help!
