You're right the website is currently down. I went on it yesterday, so I guess it's only temporary. And that's why domains should also be renewed as soon as possible. Registerfly should use 2 servers instead of 1...

registerfly was giving network/DNS error earlier today for me. Site ok now but can't register domains - get registry failure error, and online support ticket system database looks like it's crashed.

They're a great registrar, i had over 50 domains with them, when their Paypal was locked and they didn't reply on when it's going to be back i transferred all of my domains out of there. Good prices, slow servers (don't mind that) and indifferent people.

In the past I have had issues reaching registerfly which is one of the reasons why I moved from them although there are some cases in which I wish I hadn't. It seems to be running fine atm though, not sure on registerring domains though.

It may be beneficial to check out registerflies.com if you have questions about registerfly.com.

I spoke too soon... MY hosting with RegisterFly has been down THREE TIMES THIS WEEK!!!

Posted by wormy, 11-01-2006, 05:15 AM
Has anyone been able to renew their domains through registerfly recently? They failed a renew on my domain even though I tried 6 times. It kept saying I didnt have enough in my balance when that was not true.

RegisterFly hosting is down... AGAIN!!! This is becoming a weekly event with them.

I use registerfly DNS services to point my domains and subdomains to different IPs and that seems to be functional. I don't host a VPS or dedicated server with them though. And the site registerfly.com comes up just fine.

I have some personal domains at registefly and never have any problems. Their site is usually loading very slow.

Posted by wormy, 11-06-2006, 03:13 PM
Correction. The site always loads really slow.

im trying to transfer my domains away from register fly at the moment as im unable to use them its that slow it times me out between login and getting the dns management page up

I only use RegisterFly's hosting (my URLs are elsewhere)... and the RegisterFly.com home page is ALWAYS up and running just fine. BUT shared-hosting has of lately been off and on. Their email-servers are the slowest in the industry!!! Most of the time it takes 24 hours for an email to cycle through their defectively slow servers. I'm done paying for their lousy service and am looking elsewhere. On a good note. They did get their hosting servers up and running within 2 hours of my complaint to their support department (don't know if 2 hours is good or not). So I'm happy about that.

OK, I'm holding my breath.... For the first time (for some odd reason) since I began hosting with RegisterFly, my emails are cycling through their email-server in seconds!!! If things remain like this I'll be a very happy camper. It just started happening within the last couple of hours. Perhaps the late-at-night hour in the USA is the cause…?

I shouldn't have held my breath. I've been sending emails to my self and they are taking over 24 freakin hours to cycle though RegisterFly damn email server! Some of them don't even make it through (even though they are sent from the same web-based email site)!

Are they down, or did they lock me out. I get this message on all pages: Unable to connect
