2 of my 1Paket servers have just died, and one owned by a friend of mine Any idea of what's happening?

We are also experiencing some very slow connection to all of our servers which are in differents racks in Lamdbanet DE (on about 9 servers)... Did you try e-mailing 1paket ?

Their mail server is on the same dedicated server network so i don't imagine they'd get it

Yes, sorry for that, didn't think about. I checked all of our servers, they're all very slow. I am in a business trip in Germany, and even here the transfer is very slow, can't even check my e-mails. This concerns all the Lambdanet DC probably. Looks like a DDoS attack.

I heard it was a DDoS attack and that's definitely what it looked like, seeing as there was packet loss to the entire network. My server was lagging for a good hour or two.

Is yours still down? I emailed them and they said they had forwarded my issue to the 'technical department' Also, what IP range is your server in? Mine's in 83.133.120.*

@littlewhitey: here isn`t a problem with the network-connection, your box is down, we must check your hardware @all: Ladies and Gentlemen, yesterday in the evening between 21:15 and 23:00 o´clock (european time), there were considerable troubles in our network, caused by a DoS attack. From 21:30 on there already were locally 2 technician, to resolve the problems. We are sorry about the coming into being troubles.
