We are also experiencing some very slow connection to all of our servers which are in differents racks in Lamdbanet DE (on about 9 servers)...
Did you try e-mailing 1paket ?

Their mail server is on the same dedicated server network so i don't imagine they'd get it

Yes, sorry for that, didn't think about. I checked all of our servers, they're all very slow. I am in a business trip in Germany, and even here the transfer is very slow, can't even check my e-mails. This concerns all the Lambdanet DC probably. Looks like a DDoS attack.

I heard it was a DDoS attack and that's definitely what it looked like, seeing as there was packet loss to the entire network. My server was lagging for a good hour or two.

Is yours still down? I emailed them and they said they had forwarded my issue to the 'technical department'
Also, what IP range is your server in? Mine's in 83.133.120.*

@littlewhitey: here isn`t a problem with the network-connection, your box is down, we must check your hardware

Ladies and Gentlemen,
yesterday in the evening between 21:15 and 23:00 o´clock (european time), there were considerable troubles in our network, caused by a DoS attack. From 21:30 on there already were locally 2 technician, to resolve the problems.
We are sorry about the coming into being troubles.
