HostingWired [Split from old thread]

Posted by crodgers, 02-08-2006, 04:48 PM
img212.imageshack.us/img212/8906/hostingwired6ls.jpg hostingwired from that screenshot apears to be down. Not sure what is happenening with this company but I submited a ticket 3 days ago and have yet to hear anything back from them. According to their terms of service it should only take 24 hours to do a DNS change not 72. But when I go today to submit another ticket it appears the company no longer exists. I just paid for another year as well and this outage with out any word to their customers as to what is going on is mind boggeling! Avoid this company like the plague if your considering a webhost.

As of 11:00 PM ET, HostingWired is back up. Time to grab my sites files and run!

I have been having the same problem since January. I even sent them a letter in the mail to have my service canceled. They have done nothing so far. Their site is back up, but all their e-mails are down.

Just a heads up and a warning. It can be seen here and again I will screenshot this so it doesn't change in the future without everyone knowing for sure. https://www.hostingwired.com/web_hos..._overview.html This points to a new page and a new company coming about called HostNucleon. This is no doubt an attempt to start over after all the bad press Brian received after his latest blunder. Anyway just a heads up that Hostingwired is now HostNucleon. Avoid them as well. Pay close attention to the content then the URL / Address Bar. It's him alright. http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/5329/newhost4ht.jpg

Hello, I am the manager at hostnucleon.com . Hosting Wired is in no relation to us. They probably put some redirect to our webpage. Anyhow, thanks for the heads up. Mike

Crodgers, Stop spamming. Your seriously lost! You need to be an adult and actually do research. Do some reverse look ups and find out the truth. I can make some BS screenshots. All I have to do is get my firefox, go to the hostnucleon.com website...the clear the address bar and type Crodgersisamoron.com/blah.html . Take screenshot and post it on every forum like you have. You need to go back to school. Mike

Wow I must have hit a nerve somehow. First off why the heck would anyone put a redirect from a site that went dead that is in a HTTPS secure zone not a standard http zone unless it was originaly used for testing.1st off, http://www.hostingwired.com does not go anywhere. but... https://www.hostingwired.com does. It shows up as HostNucleon. How odd don't you think? Why would someone go to the trouble to do that unless... you guys are associated? I don't take one of my websites and just one day decide to add a secure socket with a VALID certificate that points to a domain that is not... how did you say "is in no relation to us"? Buddy DNS records that are put in with the registrar can say whatever you want them to say. I am using common sense because I did go to school and most people with half a brain can see that your lying. As of today you can still go to https://www.hostingwired.com and still pull up that page so try it yourself "Moron". No made up or altered screenshots were used. And you need to clarify the "You Seriously LOST" comment. Honestly I did though when you ripped me off. You owe me for a years webhosting after I paid for it and you closed up shop and made this other company afterwards to get out from under all the other screaming customers you obviously defrauded as well. So as far as my spamming I didn't think posting on a forum as to who you guys really were was spamming. But I have the right to let every person know who you guys really are. Hello, Now you gave us info we can use. We tracked the company hosting company and asked them to remove the account for fraud. Their website does not seem to be able to connect...assuming its now removed. Anyhow, I did a simple google for you and found the paypal address. Its billing@hostingwired.com. If you happen to have a paypal account you might be able to demand refund from paypal or possibly find out information to track the owner. I also found an email for the domain, which is lordicon76@msn.com We are still waiting for more information from the hosting company. Thanks, Lloyd

Well...well...well. I found more information for you guys. The hosting company gave us more detailed information. --------- Domain: hostingwired.net Last Accessed: 2006-05-09 19:16:36 Email: lordicon76@msn.com First Name: Brian Last Name: Montantes Address: Po Box 43 Portland, TX 78374 Country: US Phone: 3618163527 Paid by: Paypal IP address: 24.240.217.21 ----------- Anyhow, I hope you guys get him. The info seems pretty legit. It seems to the information I posted earlier. So, again...we do not have any association with hostingwired. We are a california based company and not a Texas based company. Please do us a favor Crogers and post this information on every forum you posted to. And, again, I am sorry for those who have lost their websites and money to a fraud host. I hope you guys get your money back. Thanks, Mike

Were you able to find out any information as to why they would use your website on their servers or post a link to it? Not sure I understand why they would do this?

To get his customers to yell at us. We have been getting nonstop tickets about hostingwired. I mean he took people's money, or so you say, the best thing is to point your domain to someone else. I mean, its a pretty good idea. But then, he can piss someone off...like us and we will just get their personal information and post it. I mean, it would cost us more money to take people's money and and start another website. Mr. MOntanes needs to be a honorable man and face his problems instead of running from them. --Mike
