Anybody else here hosted with skilledhost.com?
They've been down for 3-4 days now, and no reply to my mails and support tickets..
Does anybody know anything?

It appears their main site is down, so your e-mails and support tickets probably will not make it to them, unless they have alternative e-mail addresses for support. Do they have a telephone number to call?

Nope - there has never been a phone number on their site. One good reason to stay away from them... Just to late now.

I did some serach,, found project3 is users name in WHT, try to pm also there seem bad review on them..

skilledhost.com is up for me right now... Also I don't think the OP meant that the hosts site has been offline for 4 days.

Yeah - their mainpage is up, so they can get new customers they can scam.. Mine is still down. I tried eveything..writing them, calling them etc.. nothing works, Im totally ignored!

My domain was shutdown on November 2005, nobody in "SkilledHost" answered me.
Nobody reply to my tikets an e-mails.
I don't know what to do.
I have no pings to my domain.
I hosted my site at SkilledHost, I want my domain.

Did they register your domain name for you? If you have control of your domain record you should just sign up with another host and then modify your domain record to point to the new host. If they registered your name and you have no access to your domain record you will have to get in touch with them. If all that does fail I would try to contact the domain registrar and see if they can help.

Skilledhost always register customers domains in their own name.. WTF!?!?
I still haven't heard anything at all.. Tried calling them on +1.6186519362, but there is always the same answering machine, saying that they won't call back or pick up the phone unless they can see what number you are calling from.. WTF?!?!
I left a ton of messages, but haven't heard anything. The crazy thing is that their main-site is up - these scammers are actually taking in customers!!

Be carefull.. skilledhost will steal the domains... i was in a damn luck to get my domain lurked out of them, and sure its was not kevin who pressed my transfer link.. i was in luck!
i know others who have never seen or heard anything aobut there domains when they get into a fight with kevin (you will soon'er or later) or just cancel your account.
So i can only say that get your domain before you sign up byt skilledhost - if you dare anyway

Im onther guy who got ****ed by sklledhost...I've bought several domains with them and hosting packages....lost all my traffic, all domains....when they have a downtime, they never answer any emails, also called them and talked to some guy and he just said, well...all servers were down, files lost(including all mysql db's), no backups!! Thats it...I hope people will stay away from this host!

thats the same storie over and over again. they will steal and keep the domains!
hope someone will stop there busniess - or the nac were they are resellers through will stop them. Nothing but huge scammers.
