This is in regards to a recent dataloss and the same person using proxies to bash us here under one account. This guy has stoped as made a truce. He mentioned he had light child porn, well that shows just what he thinks, I don't ever think any child in a pic like those is light, but I do have a daughter and I wouldn't consider any nude pic of her light. This guy "justadude" admitted he was pretending to be several people bashing me and my business. He used extreme ammounts of bandwidth and had to pay the overages and this is where it started. I told him to upgrade and he didn't so the overages are his own fault. Now he says hes pretending to be several people on forums and is going to ruin our business. As for his plesk not working he never purchased a license and was told that over and over. One of our servers and the users on it had dataloss. We did not at that time provide backups, as its not on our site and stated in terms we are not responisble for lost data. The adult sites we host are huge and take all night to back up and slow the server extremely as it runs. Plus then it takes alot of room to put server after server of just backups. We now put this in place though as we are tired of users bashing us for providing the service we say we do. Our main site was down just for a day to move things to a different datacenter where better backups were in place. We tried to get all domains working right away but with a server full it took time. I had our other support guys and myself working 3 days straight with just a few naps I went 48 hours straight at a computer with no sleep thats how important this is to me. We did have some downtimes here and there but it comes from hosting the adult sites people want to sign up for a 5.99 account and use up system memory and cpu so that it crashes the server. then if you tell them to upgrade to dedicated or fix the cpu useage they come on the forums and bash us for something we can't control. In the past we would allow users time to correct the issues and such. But now we just suspend any account going over allocated ammounts of cpu or memory. Things have become more stable and we will soon be changing some more things to make it better. We strive to provide the best services and bandwidth. These people who say we don't answer emails may have emailed in during our sites downtimes meaning we didn't get the email or during the dataloss as we recieved hundreds of emails over a few hours time. Things are back to normal and we have lost a few customers but most stayed. So why would people stay with us if we are so bad? Its becuase for the most part we provide a great service.

wauu... thats a lot of *********** stop lying and use my email as spam. and the plesk, well.. then i need a refund because i paid you for it. another stealing from your "exelent service" lol.. noob Glad to se that alot others are saying all the right thing about your company. you have a crappy hosting and daily downtime... and the support you "give" i will even not talk about, because its not there at all. And just to say.... the spam you send out, its traced to skilledhost's main IP... So stop borthering me or i will do the chargeback!.

First since your on a dedicated server if you had downtime it was your server not the network. We had no network downtimes the whole time you were a customer. And no we didn't deal with half of your support requests as dedicated servers only get network and hardware support. If you want a managed server you should of paid for it.

Yes..there was a lot of downtime and you just dont know what your doing, that is why you dont answer...

Gee I wish I read these forums before I signed up with SkilledHost. We got everything running, and it looked promising. We paid $100 for a dedicated SSL certificate on one of the sites, and got that all up and running. Then, the whole lot fell over, all data was lost, and it took 2-3 days for them to get up and running again. I am a patient man, and SkilledHost.com is a cheap host after all, so I gave them some slack, re-uploaded my sites and started again, but the SSL certificate needed re-installing. 2 months later, after repeated requests and emails, we still haven't had the SSL re-installed. They replied to the first couple of emails, saying how they'd lost all their customer details and they'd have to do it from scratch again. Now, we don't even get a reply. The management of this company is absolutely disgusting. Now, even if the SSL is re-instated, we have lost 2 months of the 1 year we have paid for. I have given them 2 days, and I will be requesting a refund if the SSL cert is still not re-installed. If they don't give me a refund within a week, we will be initiating a chargeback. (ten bucks says that I never get a reply from them at all now). Can anyone here recommend a hosting company that offers similar services/prices but who can actually do their job properly? I'm not into bad-mouthing companies on forums, but I feel I've given them more than enough time, and to be honest, I think people should know how these guys operate. Oh yeah, and "daily down time" is almost not an exagerration. Our site was down last night, and there is some problem today, our page takes 10 full minutes to load, and it has less bulk that one of these forum pages. Never be afraid to do a chargeback. Chargebacks are good

yes try www.vrtservers.com they are very cheap - and normally thats will bring somekind of problems with downtime or so, but i haven got any downtime yet. only 100% uptime. kind regards

damn, I wish i've read this before....skilledhost really does have DAILY DOWNTIMES and no support!! Lost lots of money with them! And i also used to be patient...

sorry to hear buddy - and please do not make them reg. your domain through them. when you will leave them - they steal and keep your domain.

yeah, i know it now...but now I dont want others to make my mistakes, so im gathering all user reviews/complaints about skilledhost to post everywhere they have their ads, so that ppl should know!

This board should really have a part were there are "do not host with them" So they would be blacklisted at this site.

well... as for me, i've registered in this forum when I found complaints about skilledhost...I guess most of the people have the same expirience...
