anyone in my subnet maybe? 66.197.*.* Actually, they just replied, and said : "We are currently, and hope to have them resolved shortly." Having network problems, that is....

Have you guys noticed in the last 1-2 month, Noctsre.com network has been down more than the usual.. It is down at the moment and i don't know if they are doing anything to fix tis problem ???

Posted by richardhay, 09-29-2005, 10:51 AM
Hi. All of my servers in the 66.197 subnet are unreachable. My servers in other subnets are experiencing really high latency. This is the sixth outage in the past nine days. This is getting to the "unacceptable" level as it is beginning to cost me customers. EDIT: Up now. But, the problem did last 17 minutes before I said anything here.

I'm still totally down. They are not answering the support tickets anymore....

Posted by hawkv, 09-29-2005, 01:25 PM
So what do you guys think about Burstnet or Nocster. Is it worth staying away from them ???

Posted by fleed, 09-29-2005, 01:29 PM
I think their prices are pretty good, and they're better than my last provider, but I only have servers with them at the moment, so can't really compare. I think they are trying to improve their network and it's resiliency but that takes a little time...

I've stayed with them for over four years. It's worked out well.

There were lots of packetloss today for us, not sure what's going on, their forum is down for me as well. Hope things return to normal soon.

Looks like things are better for my server (sits with fingers crossed) but it appears things are not so good for burst.net as it seems they are completely down (no forum, no support desk, no web site). Actually my ping times are better than they have been for several days so I hope they got to the root of the problem. By the way I've been with them since May 2003 and while there have been a few bumps in the road I have to say 1) they have great prices 2) they try really hard - dispite the grief they get from people. They are actually better than any other NOC I've worked with over the years when you consider the whole package.

Then I would say they are the Victim of their own success!!! They have to do something to solve these problems soon.
