Yep, same here. Down roughly 40 minutes now.

Strange. Its from their router / switch to the servers where we loose the connection.

And now their DNS is gone too. 'dig unixshell.com' just times out. Ouch.

Well, ns1 is located behind the same switch as the clients ns2.... thats located on a "ThePlanet" server. That server is actually responding, but not to DNS

Few thread to reply to... yes we installed an IPS to help customers servers from being hacked. It went AWOL and took a while to fix, for the moment it's still on but not doing any dropping of packets. The Alertra stats on our site are messed up now (it was dropping the Alertra scans too), but before this network uptime was 99.989% making this the first major network outage in 2 years. People ready to jump ship on an hour or two of network downtime over a 2 year period? Yep.. .that's WHT I guess

Matt, it's not the two hours.. obviously you are missing the big picture, turn off the IPS and listen to your customers... YOU disappeared to the rest of the world because of the ips.. you also made all of your CUSTOMERS disapear.... think about it before you respond like it's no big deal. IT is a BIG DEAL when you just disappear.

Well, I can re-interate my stance when most of the network is down WHT is low on the priority rate to check. Customers could still support tickets via our Customer portal / ticket system as they are hosted off-site.

ok Matt. now lets see how many hours or days it takes for you or tektonic support to respond to the ticket I posted.... how many days are we behind, one, two, three? reference ticket 10737, 10942, 11289, and 11329.
