Our BGP network is 100% operational, but some clients that are still provided by the old Peer1-only network are affected by an outage caused by a power problem at Peer1 in Montreal. Peer1 lost power to the whole Peer1 facility in Montreal so we lost all connections from our datacenter to them. Our own web site has not been moved to the BGP Network yet so it's also down but our Network and Datacenter is 100% operational. The problem should be fixed in the next 5 minutes. Please contact our staff in order to get your new IPs and move your things to our BGP network to avoid being dependant of Peer1. Regards, Last edited by atchoooo; 09-18-2005 at 03:46 AM.

We are on BGP and it continued working fine! I'm glad we switched to BGP recently However, customers from Texas and California are having slow connection issues to our servers, seems to be traced to TeleGlobe line.

Please send traceroutes to our network support staff, we will be able to diagnose the problem and see where it lies and if the routes can be changed if there is a problem somewhere. Regards, Martin Leclair iWeb.Ca
