iRacks Network Outage (IRDC1) [14-MAR-05]

Network: IRDC1 (Redbus Interhouse) Date: 14th March 2005 Downtime: 15:15 - ONGOING, CEST (+1 UTC/GMT) Reason: Switching Infrastructure Outage Length: ONGOING Resolution: WORK IN PROGRESS Please note this outage only effects customers in IRDC1 and not IRDC2. Thread will be updated upon completition of necessary work and resolution of outage.

Update: It has been confirmed that the outage has only effected customers in: CABINET-A ROW-1 and CABINET-B ROW-1 at IRDC1. ---------------------------------- We have isolated the issue to a faulty power circuit. Redbus Interhouse and ourselves are working to resolve the fault in next 20-30 minutes.

Update: It has been confirmed that the outage has only effected customers in: CABINET-A ROW-1 at IRDC1 ---------------------------------- That is to say, customers in CABINET-B of ROW-1 were not effected., the backup power source had successfully taken over for those customers.

Update: Power has been restored to all affected customers. Colocation customers receiving a Power SLA should follow the steps provided in Schedule 3 of their contract to receive compensation for the downtime.
