IdleServ has been extremely slow for me since 1 PM central time.

Right now, 5 of their servers have been down for almost 40 minutes.

Our datacenter Ezzi.net appears to be unreachable at this time.

Message from Ezzi: At approx 2:30PM EST 10/17/04 we lost a couple of UPS's because of a power surge from the electricians working on the new power build out that is currently going on. We are working on replacing the UPS's at this time. Approx. time of getting everything back to normal is 3:45PM - 4:00Pm EST. Very sorry for the inconvenience... Be sure we are working on getting everything back up ASAP.

My page just got reverted to a version from around September 13th. I can't get to IdleServ.net. What is happening? Edit: Everything in my cPanel looks normal, all my email accounts and subdomains and databases are there, but all my files are really old versions! Edit2: I think I know what happened. For some reason my site is pointing at cp3 instead of cp4, and it's showing the version from right before IdleServ moved the site to cp4. Wonder how that happened. Hi, Sorry the old account hadn't been removed from CP3 and so it got copied to the new server and the dns record updated to the new IP address. Unfortunately the TTL on the new record was set back to 24 hours, so you may find yourself not being directed to CP4 until your ISP refreshes the cached record. Luckily I caught the problem before I knew you had posted on here. Hopefully not too many visitors will be affected by the problem. I apologise for my mistake. Chris.

Thanks for your help, glad this could be resolved so quickly. I've told my visitors to do ipconfig /flushdns and it's working fine now.

I'm pretty sure CP4 is down. It's not responding to pings. Edit: Nevermind, seems to be working now. Last edited by rmuser; 12-01-2004 at 06:47 PM.
