When I try to do a trace on jumpline.com itself, I get the following message: "Lookup Failed. No IP address or host name with a valid lookup in input. " Can anyone more technical than myself interpret this for me?

We appear to be back. I wonder if they'll tell us what happened? Regardless, if anyone could explain the above message for my own education I'd be grateful. Thanks.

I saw that. Jumpline is just totally out of hand. I suspected quite a few of their servers would be down on Thanksgiving. If you monitor them they've got their hands full just keeping the servers running on a regular work week. What's not showing is the VDS in most cases keeps web sites online but they slow down so much they're virtually worthless. Basically they're selling high priced shared virtual hosting at VDS prices. I begin to fret two weeks prior to the holiday kick-off.

P.S. - You missed the problems right after midnight.

Now you've got me worried! I'll monitor them even more closely, and exit if this periodic outage pattern persists... which it sounds like it might!

I wish they would take care of the customers they already have instead of spamming our helpdesk looking to buy ours
