Hi There:
The issue is not on the ThePlanet Side of the network however it is something to do with Savvis Nationwide currently, Savvis Techs are working on it.

Hello,
There is currently a circuit down on the UUNet > Savvis and Qwest > Savvis back bones.
Please see the internet health report below. All 3 backbone net eng teams are looking into this issue right now and will get it cleared up ASAP.

Hey guys... is anyone else having problems with their boxes in the Savvis DC in Dallas?
|

Yes... I have been having problems for an hour now.
Seems like my traffic is being routed through Washington DC, or Atlanta before going to Dallas. And I am getting 200ms delay times, when it should be around 50-60ms.

I just talked to layeredtech, and I've been told that Savvis lost routing to one of thier upstream links, and they're "busting their butts to fix it"
hope that's the case =(

The problems are upstream from us and have to do with the peering between UUNET / Savvis and Qwest / Savvis. All 3 backbone providers are working on this issue at the highest priority and will resolve it as soon as possible.
Thanks
