Hi There: The issue is not on the ThePlanet Side of the network however it is something to do with Savvis Nationwide currently, Savvis Techs are working on it. http://www.internethealthreport.com Thank you, Tom

Hello, There is currently a circuit down on the UUNet > Savvis and Qwest > Savvis back bones. Please see the internet health report below. All 3 backbone net eng teams are looking into this issue right now and will get it cleared up ASAP. http://www.internethealthreport.com/ Thanks Jeremy

Hey guys... is anyone else having problems with their boxes in the Savvis DC in Dallas?

Posted by kingfred, 11-03-2004, 01:00 PM
Yes... I have been having problems for an hour now. Seems like my traffic is being routed through Washington DC, or Atlanta before going to Dallas. And I am getting 200ms delay times, when it should be around 50-60ms.

I just talked to layeredtech, and I've been told that Savvis lost routing to one of thier upstream links, and they're "busting their butts to fix it" hope that's the case =(

The problems are upstream from us and have to do with the peering between UUNET / Savvis and Qwest / Savvis. All 3 backbone providers are working on this issue at the highest priority and will resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks Jeremy

I am having the same problem, luckily for me my failover site is up and running with my managed dns. What a pain though.
