iRacks

Dear iRacks/WHT Community, Hi! For the past number of months, myself (reseller) and my clients have been experiencing many bouts of downtime and service loss while being hosted on iRacks' shared hosting server 'webhost2' We have sat quietly for a while in the hope that iRacks would resolve the issues at hand leaving everyone, once again, happy at their service. It dissappoints me now to write here that, in fact, the complete opposite has happened. Contacting iRacks support via different methods doesn't seem to have resolved any of the problem issues we're experiencing. On the odd occasion that I/we have received a reply, it has been non-productive at best. Email services are constantly dying and moments after, the server seems completely dead to the world. At one point, we were informed that the problems were due to one of my clients email use - "there's a large volume of returned emails crashing the server." I, personally, can't understand why returned emails would cause a server to 'crash', however, I resolved the issue with said client and the returning email problem ceased immediately. However, after doing this, we're still experiencing server down time and service loss. Would it be possible for iRacks to sort out their Shared Hosting server "Webhost2" considering now that services from this machine have been down roughly 12 times in the past 3 days? We've been trying to resolve this issue for months now and the past 3 days have just been ridiculous. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying my email is 'mission critical' and as such, having no email makes life incredibly difficult and complicated. Not least for the fact that I'm now paying my customers compensation for phone calls to my support lines because they can't email. I call for iRacks to resolve this issue immediately and explain to the WHT Community and iRacks customers why this problem is still occuring after being told numerous times over the past 3 months that service's are being lost. Disgruntled, Martin Diver. Last edited by Martin-D; 10-31-2004 at 05:24 AM.

iRacks have absolutely nothing to explain to the WHT community. If you have a problem with them, then communicate through the appropriate channels - do not call on them to account for themselves on a communuty of their piers and potential customers, as that is unreasonable. If you are not satisfied with their answers, then you have the option to move, and you are more than welcome to post your experiences for others to see. This is more than possible.
