Sagonet Down??

Anyone else have Sagonet down in their location? It's been down since 9:00AM here. Anywhere else? Though, I do not believe it is due to a problem with their servers, so I've been told.

If you use Level3 for transit, it is probably because they (Level3) are having a stack of problems right now with one or two of their routers.

I think it's the New York and Washington routers, or the routers one hop on from those ones. I had problems this morning and it was routing via New York. Level 3 seem to have rerouted via Washington but it's even worse now.

yup, defintely problems for me too. I'm in Rhode Island and i cant connect, BUT , i've been having problems daily for past 3-4 weeks. Every single day i lose connect and box is up pingable for at least 15 minutes. This is getting sickening, i can't stand it. I love to keep sago though because they allow irc, and i run 1 bnc and 1 eggdrop on there. If it wasnt for that i wouldn't even keep it. No other regular cheap providers will allow me to run that, even though i've never been DDos'd once in 10 years, it just hurts the people like me who just want one eggdrop. gmoney3

Read the posts, it's isn't Sagonet, it's Level3. Nothing Sagenet/The Planet/everyone else can do about it. If the routing is screwed up and the packets are being dropped before it gets to the host's network, it's out of their hands.

Sorry for not replying to this one, I thought all relative Level3 threads were being merged. I'll post more info as I have status updates to the problem, but yes, it was L3 routing issues which affected some portions of the networks, while others were fine. We will post more information as it becomes available to us. Thank you,

cprompt, ok, maybe its not sagonet on this issue, but just in general over the past month. Every day i've had problems with my service. It goes down for 10-20 minutes almost every day. I heard they are working on routers, and having some problem and stuff. I just hope its all fixed soon and doesnt keep doing this, thats all. gmoney3@gmail.com

That issue, was fixed Thursday night into Friday morning with Foundry. I haven't yet though been alerted of all the technical details of causes, and fixes, but it's been resolved, and been strong all weekend without incident. Thanks,

9:42 pm CST, down again. Their website seems fine, but my server and alot of servers around me (IP addresses above and below me) are all having problems and not responding as well. Sat on hold for 35 min with tech support before giving up and no one is answering their emergency cell phone. Ugh....
