Posted by nikkihyd1111, 04-18-2017, 06:47 AM
I recently had a adult site, but it was taken down on account of violation of law, while my competitors websites are still there. is there any way i can make a website that cannot be deleted. Where am i going wrong. Is it the host selection or do i have to include some privacy features to my website that its host cant be detected. Please some one answer.

Did your host specify the exact law you violated?

Can you track down the IP of your competitor website to find out the hosting provider of that? You can then go ahead and sign up a hosting service with them. If you are suspended again, you can argue with that provider, tell them similar site on their server/network is still alive.

Hosting an adult site is not really a problem, but make sure to check the ToS and AUP of your hosting provider, just to ensure this is not disallowed by them.

Agreed, you can also ask the provider directly before you order.

Many providers do not allow adult content. Some allow adult content but not porn. You should be careful about hosting these sites with a provider that does not advertise hosting adult websites. Select a provider that has no issue with your website's content. Typically, a provider only takes action when you hit a flag or a complaint is received from a third party. So, if a provider doesn't allow adult content but you have created a members area and hosted adult content, you might still be suspended.

You shouldn't face many problems hosting an escorts site, if escorts services are legal on where you are, search for a host on the area too.

Probably wherever / whatever your host is saying you're suspended for? I find it unlikely they would take it down purely for adult content, unless they themselves specifically don't allow it or some local law is broken by it, you shouldn't have an issue with this from most providers. It would probably help if you ask future providers if they permit the content you are hosting before hand.

It should be fine as long the concent is infact legal and there is nothing prohibiting adult material within the ToS of the hosting provider.

Many hosts require that you not only abide by local laws, but any laws of any area that the host might operate in. This is just there to protect them. For example, in the US you need to abide by 18 U.S.C. 2257. In the UK its Digital Economy Bill 2016–17. Plus there are some regional local laws in some areas. Its best to ask any potential host about laws you must follow and get their guidelines.

Thanks a lot guys for your help, i guess i got the answer, one of my friend said that i can add some security features like 'SSL Certifcate'. I mean increase privacy, when you do this they do not share your id and the host is hidden, so you can't be blocked. Any comments.

You're confusing some things. 1. An SSL certificate does not increase privacy. It will increase security if done right by encrypting the communication between your users and your server. 2. The host is not hidden when you use an SSL certificate. The host is never REALLY hidden. The closest you can get to that (off the top of my head) is using Cloudflare and hiding the origin IP but if you're committing abuse, the reporting party will still get your IP by contacting Cloudflare. You should probably read online about whatever it is your friend tells you as it doesn't sound like he knows enough to give advice.

Agreed! Most hosts will outline in there TOS if they allow adult contents or not. Always check with your local laws as well.

First of all, you need to make sure the hosting provider allows adult content, and that there are not copyright issues, all content is 18+. There are also different laws in different countries. You need help from someone experienced in running such sites. This is probably not the best site to get such help. Maybe an adult type form would be better.

You may not want to 'hide' anything from anyone when you are hosting a website. It will only put you in trouble. There are legit solutions to host adult content or even porn. Find a provider that allows the content of your website and host with them. If you are unsure, contact the provider before making the purchase.

Your better off going / aiming straight towards any hosts that states in their terms of service that adult content is allowed then from there to double make sure you should contact their support department explain your situation your having with the other host and while your at it make it clear to them if your allowed to host that type of site on their services and from there if they allow you to host your site on their services then you shouldn't have any more issues going forward do keep us pitched in and let us know if you find the right host and how it goes.
