Hello all,
My apologies if this is not the right forum on WHT to post this to, but I'm rushed and unfamiliar with the practices here.
It appears as if the Primary Liebert air unit in our Cedar Falls Datacenter has failed.
By our best calculations, the primary air conditioning unit began to falter between 5:00 and 5:30 PM, CST. There was not a complete failure initially, but a considerable fall in the amount of air being cycled did result in a significant temperature increase before the backup units began kicking in.
This resulted in a number of servers going offline, in what we believe is the internal heat detectors have been tripped, in an effort to save the system from complete and utter system meltdown.
The backup units are currently functioning, and the NOC is cooling down quickly, and we are powering up the servers as quickly as we are comfortable with, first gauging them all with a very general is it hot to the touch sensor, and then attempting to boot the machine.

We did not notice anything on our box at that NOC but you guys really need to watch Jeremy or he will try to steal all the AC.
Well no matter what happens I know that we can count on FS on doing a quick and complete job of making things right. I am in both Dc's with them and could not be happier.
